Live With Arthritis
Arthritis remains one of the most misunderstood and undertreated chronic conditions on the continent. Pain, limited mobility, and lack of specialist care affect millions of Nigerians — yet the condition receives little public attention or funding.
Walk Off Arthritis was founded to change that. Every step you take on July 4 helps fund physiotherapy access, patient education, and arthritis research across Nigeria. Our target: raise ₦50 million in a single day.
The Experience
Your Walk Day, Step by Step
Collect your race bib and t-shirt, join community warm-up sessions, and connect with fellow walkers before the flag-off.
Water, electrolyte drinks, and healthy snacks distributed at clearly marked stations along the entire 15 KM route.
Local musicians and performers animate the route, creating an energetic atmosphere that carries you across the finish line.
Certified first-aid responders and medical teams stationed at regular intervals to ensure the safety of every participant.
Finisher medals, group photographs, sponsor pavilions, and a community celebration await you at the finish line.

Not at all. The Walk Off Arthritis is a 15 KM charity walk — not a race. You set your own pace. Many of our participants are people living with arthritis themselves, and the route is designed to be manageable for all fitness levels. If you can walk, you can join us.
